The Water Artist

My work represents chunks of water that have seemingly been scooped out of the ocean, pools or lakes and splashed onto the walls, in a controlled but fluid form. I explore the theme of memories and visceral interactions when being in various bodies of water.

Each piece is hand sculpted, painted and then layered with pigments, creating two dimensional works of art that appear to have movement and reflective light with changing colors.
